This illustration is  published in the de Souza Institute‘s online course series, Cancer Disease Sites. The illustration is within a module giving an overview prostate cancer and its treatment.

This diagram describes the location and relationship of the three zones of the prostate. To describe the complex spatial relationships between the zones, I’ve shown the zones as a 2-dimensional slice as well as a corresponding 3-dimensional image with transparency.
